MENLO PARK, Calif., September 22, 2026-- Sundance Growth, a growth equity firm investing in mission-critical B2B software companies, today announced the close of Sundance Growth Fund II, LP at its hard cap of $250 million. The close comes roughly eighteen months after the firm was founded and brings Sundance's total AUM to $375 million.
Fund II was met with a strong uptick in commitment size from Fund I's limited partner base, who re-upped alongside a group of new blue-chip institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, OCIOs, funds of funds, and family offices. The pace of the raise and the strength of returning LP support reflect deep conviction in the strategy and in the team executing it.
Founded by Christian Stewart, formerly of Accel-KKR, Sundance Growth makes early growth equity investments in B2B SaaS companies that sit in the gap between venture capital, traditional growth equity, and private equity. The firm focuses on vertical systems of record SaaS platforms at $5 million to $10 million in ARR with strong long-term growth potential.
We raised Fund I to back software companies under $10 million of ARR, and we did exactly what we said we were going to do: partnering with six of them to date and completing multiple add-on acquisitions across the portfolio. Fund II lets us back more of these founders with more capital to put behind them well past the initial investment. We're especially grateful to our LPs for believing in us at a time when software fundraising hasn't been easy given the pressures from AI, and glad to welcome an excellent group of new investors who understood what we were building. We're looking forward to continuing to partner with the best software companies in their categories. — Christian Stewart, Founder & Managing Partner
Sundance Growth provides flexible capital and hands-on support to help companies grow and scale both organically and through strategic M&A, with an emphasis on long-term alignment with management teams building durable, profitably growing software platforms.
Pacenote Capital LLC ("Pacenote") again acted as exclusive Placement Agent.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have supported Sundance in the successful closing of Fund II. We have tremendous conviction in Sundance's ability to continue sourcing compelling off-market investments and creating value across its portfolio. The speed of the fundraise and, more importantly, the caliber of the limited partners underscore the exceptional platform Christian and his team are building. — Pacenote Capital
