Doug Yu

Doug has over 30 years of experience in venture capital research. He has been Editor of VCPro Database, the world's first downloadable venture capital directory, since 1998.

During 1990-1997, Doug was the research editor of the Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ), the definitive source for hard information on venture capital activities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Doug was also the editor of the Guide to Venture Capital in Asia, the source book for Asian venture capital and private equity industry, countries covered including the United States, Canada and Europe. He was instrumental in the development of the Guide to an indispensable resource which reports and analyses venture capital fund raising, investment and divestment activity in Asia Pacific.

He holds an M.Sc. degree in Computer-Based Information Systems from the University of Sunderland, UK.
