Doug has over 30 years of experience in venture capital research. He has been editor of VCPro Database, the world’s first downloadable venture capital directory, since 1998.
From 1990 to 1997 he was research editor of the Asian Venture Capital Journal, the definitive source for hard information on venture capital activity across the Asia-Pacific region.
He also edited the Guide to Venture Capital in Asia, the source book for the Asian venture capital and private equity industry, with coverage extending to the United States, Canada, and Europe. He was instrumental in developing the Guide into a reference that reported and analysed fund raising, investment, and divestment activity across Asia Pacific.
He holds an M.Sc. in Computer-Based Information Systems from the University of Sunderland, UK.
