Silversmith Capital Partners Promotes Rafael Urdaneta to Chief Financial Officer

BOSTON, January 5, 2022-- Silversmith Capital Partners today announced the promotion of Rafael Urdaneta to Chief Financial Officer. Since joining Silversmith in 2018 as Vice President of Finance, Raf has played an integral role in all finance and compliance related matters of the of the firm.
“Over the past four years, Raf has developed into a leader internally,” said Silversmith Managing Partner, Jim Quagliaroli. “His technical knowledge, incredible work ethic, and his strategic mindset has served the firm well as he has guided the day-to-day activities of the finance and compliance functions. We are very excited to promote him to CFO.”
Raf has over 15 years in finance and accounting experience. Prior to Silversmith, Raf served as a Controller at Summit Partners where he was actively involved in all aspects of the management company. He also provided support to Summit’s fund and compliance teams. Previously, Raf was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Asset Management Practice focusing on alternative investments. He received his MBA, MS, and BS in Accounting from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University.
