Avista Capital Partners Names Jim Nussle to Advisory Board

NEW YORK, February 2, 2010-- Avista Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm, today announced that it has named Jim Nussle to its Advisory Board. Mr. Nussle brings to Avista his strategic insight into the intersection of business and federal regulation and public policy, honed over his more than twenty years in Washington. A former White House cabinet member and longtime Iowa Congressman, Mr. Nussle currently serves as President and CEO of The Nussle Group, a multi-discipline public policy and strategic consulting firm.

From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Nussle served as Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget in the cabinet of President George W. Bush. Prior to that, Mr. Nussle spent 16 years representing the state of Iowa in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Nussle received his B.A. in Political Science, Economics, and International Studies from Luther College, and his J.D. from Drake University.
