Collectrium Names Brian McConville President, Raises $2.6 Million

Appointment To Solidify Collectrium’s Position As The Leading Cloud-Based And Mobile Platform For The Art World

NEW YORK, NY, March 14, 2013-- Collectrium announced today that Brian McConville, formerly Executive Vice President of artnet, has joined Collectrium as President. McConville, who also joined Collectrium’s Board of Managers, will focus primarily on Collectrium’s high level strategy, marketing, business development, fundraising, and strategic partnerships.

While the EVP of Artnet Worldwide Corp., McConville led artnet’s global sales team and was instrumental in launching and growing artnet Auctions and artnet’s Analytics division. He had joined artnet in 2003 following a ten-year career on Wall Street. An avid art collector, McConville brings to Collectrium a far-reaching network of art business relationships in the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
