TA Associates Announces Global Staff Promotions

BOSTON, January 22, 2013-- TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm, today announced promotions of three staff members in TA’s Boston, London and Mumbai offices, effective January 1, 2013.

Tadler, Chairman and a Managing Director at TA Associates. “Their strong experience investing in and guiding the growth of portfolio companies has created value for our Limited Partners, portfolio companies and TA.”

Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan was promoted to Principal from Senior Vice President. She serves in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in technology-based companies. Ms. de Saint-Aignan played a significant role in TA’s 2011 investment in Answers and serves on that company’s Board of Directors. Ms. de Saint-Aignan received a BA, magna cum laude, in Economics and International Relations from Brown University, and an MBA, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School.

Dhiraj Poddar was promoted to Principal and Director in the Mumbai office of TA Associates Advisory Pvt. Ltd, supporting Indian operations. Mr. Poddar advised on TA’s investments in Tega Industries and IndiaIdeas.com (BillDesk) and is a member of the Board of Directors of both companies. He holds a degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Patrick Sader was promoted to Principal from Senior Vice President. He serves in the London office of TA Associates (UK), LLP, focusing on investments across Europe. Mr. Sader was instrumental in TA’s 2012 investment in Zadig & Voltaire and played an active role in the firm’s 2011 investment in DNCA Finance. He serves on the Board of Directors of Zadig & Voltaire. Mr. Sader received a BA in Finance and Accounting from ESSEC Business School.
